- 2 (8 inch) tortillas
- melted butter, for brushing on tortilla
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon water
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 bananas
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 450°.
- 2 place tortillas on a baking sheet and brush both sides with melted butter.
- 3 bake until golden, about 7 to 8 minutes
- 4 if they puff up, press down with a spatula.
- 5 in a small saucepan, stir brown sugar, cinnamon and 1 tablespoon water over medium heat.
- 6 stir in 4 tablespoons butter until melted.
- 7 slice bananas diagonally 1/4 inch thick and arrange in overlapping circles on tortillas.
- 8 brush brown sugar mixture evenly over bananas.
- 9 bake until shiny, about 10 minutes.
- 10 cut into wedges; serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
