Butterscotch Brownies

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 beat eggs till foamy, stir in flour, sugar, walnuts, and salt.set aside.
  • 2 place cocoa powder and butter in pan and cook over low heat, till butter melt, stir mixture well.
  • 3 remove from heat and add to egg mixture and blend well.
  • 4 spread batter, evenly in a greased 13x9 pan.set aside.
  • 5 preheat oven to 350*.
  • 6 cream butter with sugar, add eggs and vanilla.beat till well mixed.
  • 7 mix in flour, salt and walnuts, spoon over chocolate layer in small mounds.
  • 8 spreading evenly as possible.
  • 9 bake for 25-30 minutes until brownie begins to pull away from sides of pan.
  • 10 remove from oven and let cool.
