Butterscotch Brownies (low-fat But You'd Never Know It)

Ingredients

- 1 egg
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe
- 1 grease an 8x8 inch baking pan. preheat the oven to 350.
- 2 in a bowl, beat the egg well. add the sugar and vanilla and mix well.
- 3 sift the flour with the salt and baking soda,then stir into the egg mixture.
- 4 stir in the nuts.
- 5 spread the batter in the prepared pan and bake for about 20 minutes.
- 6 cut into 16 squares while still warm.
- 7 cool, then remove from pan.
