Bread Pudding

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 4 cups old bread
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Recipe

  • 1 put the bread cubes and raisins in a large bowl.
  • 2 pour 1/2 cup milk over the bread and raisin; set a side.
  • 3 beat into the eggs, the sugar, the remaining 1-1/2 cup of milk, and nutmeg.
  • 4 pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes and stir.
