Bananas 'n Cream Bundt Cake

Ingredients

- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 medium ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or 3/4 cup pecans
Recipe
- 1 in a mixing bowl, cream together shortening and sugar.
- 2 add eggs, one at a time, until well blended; stir in vanilla and bananas.
- 3 in a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- 4 add to banana mixture alternately with sour cream.
- 5 stir in walnuts.
- 6 pour into a greased and floured 10-inch bundt pan.
- 7 bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until cake tests done.
- 8 cool, then dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.
