Apricot Sour Cream Pastries

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 beaten egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • apricot preserves
  • coconut
  • chopped pecans, if desired

Recipe

  • 1 cut butter into flour until it crumbs.
  • 2 add egg yolk and sour cream and blend together.
  • 3 chill several hours.
  • 4 divide into 4 parts.
  • 5 roll each part into a 10" circle.
  • 6 spread preserves.
  • 7 sprinkle with coconut and pecans if desired.
  • 8 cut into wedges and roll into crescents.
  • 9 sprinkle with sugar.
  • 10 bake 20 minutes at 350 or until lightly browned.
