American Cream Pots

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 eggs
  • 45 g caster sugar
  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 600 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 315 g drained mandarin segments

Recipe

  • 1 whisk eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla essence until well blended.
  • 2 pour mixture into 6 ramekins.
  • 3 simmer the custards for about 10 minutes in a pan of boiling water.
  • 4 remove pan from the heat and stand covered with lid until fully set.
  • 5 refridgerate until well chilled.
  • 6 just before serving, pour over a tablespoon of maple syrup.
  • 7 top with mandarin segments.
