Ingredients

- 4 plantains, peeled
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
Recipe
- 1 cut peeled plantains in thick wedges or slices.
- 2 fry plantain in hot cooking oil for 2 minutes, drain, and set apart.
- 3 mix sugar and vinegar and cook on stovetop to hard ball stage.
- 4 dip plantains in cooked syrup or pour syrup over them.
- 5 let cool and serve.
