Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon plain flour
- vanilla essence
- 2 ounces butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg yolk
Recipe
- 1 in a saucepan, mix together the flour and sugar until well blended.
- 2 chop the butter into small pieces.
- 3 add a little of the milk to the flour and sugar and mix well until smooth and then add the rest of the ingredients.
- 4 stir over a medium heat and when mixture starts to thicken, remove from heat and beat well with electric mixer.
- 5 mixture will thicken more when cool.
