Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 lb light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecans, coarsely chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375f.
- 2 melt butter in 13-by-9-inch pan.
- 3 put sugar in large mixing bowl.
- 4 pour melted butter over sugar.
- 5 cream butter and sugar.
- 6 beat in eggs.
- 7 mix in remaining ingredients.
- 8 pour back into already buttered pan.
- 9 bake 25-30 minutes, or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of pan.
- 10 when cool, cut into squares.
