Butterscotch Brownies

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 lb light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans, coarsely chopped

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375f.
  • 2 melt butter in 13-by-9-inch pan.
  • 3 put sugar in large mixing bowl.
  • 4 pour melted butter over sugar.
  • 5 cream butter and sugar.
  • 6 beat in eggs.
  • 7 mix in remaining ingredients.
  • 8 pour back into already buttered pan.
  • 9 bake 25-30 minutes, or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of pan.
  • 10 when cool, cut into squares.
