Buttermilk Dump Pound Cake

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla or 2 teaspoons lemon extract or 2 teaspoons almond extract or 2 teaspoons orange extract (1 tsp each of any 2 flavorings you like etc.)
Recipe
- 1 dump all ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix with electric mixer on medium speed for 15 minutes.
- 2 pour batter into greased bundt or tube cake pan.
- 3 put into cold oven.
- 4 set oven temperature at 325 degrees and bake for 1 hour 20 minutes, or until cake tests done.
