Ingredients

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar well.
- 2 add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- 3 add vanilla extract and lemon juice and blend well.
- 4 lightly grease and flour your tube pan.
- 5 sprinkle the chopped pecans in the bottom of the tube pan and pour batter in on top of pecans.
- 6 bake at 275 degrees for 1 1/2-2 hours until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
