Ingredients

- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten slightly
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Recipe
- 1 stir flour and baking powder together.
- 2 melt butter and brown sugar over low heat.
- 3 stir in slightly beaten egg.
- 4 blend in dry ingredients, mixing well.
- 5 add vanilla and nuts.
- 6 bake in greased and floured 8" square pan at 300 for 25-35 minutes.
- 7 cut while warm.
