Butterscotch Brownies

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten slightly
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Recipe

  • 1 stir flour and baking powder together.
  • 2 melt butter and brown sugar over low heat.
  • 3 stir in slightly beaten egg.
  • 4 blend in dry ingredients, mixing well.
  • 5 add vanilla and nuts.
  • 6 bake in greased and floured 8" square pan at 300 for 25-35 minutes.
  • 7 cut while warm.
